Questions
What counts as a tool call?
Each request to any MCP tool counts as one call. This includes federal tools (search_opportunities, get_opportunity, search_awards, lookup_entity, etc.) and state tools (search_state_bids). Pagination and filtering parameters don't affect the count—one request = one call.
What happens if I exceed 1,000 calls?
Your service continues uninterrupted. Additional calls are billed at $0.01 each at the end of your billing period. You can set a hard cap in your dashboard if you prefer.
How do state add-ons work?
Add Texas, Georgia, or Utah ($10/mo each) at checkout or after the base plan. State add-ons selected at checkout are included in the 3-day free trial; adding a state later is $10 from that day. They appear as a quantity line item on your invoice (one $10/mo unit per state) and can be added or removed anytime from your dashboard. Cancel anytime. State tool calls count toward the same shared usage meter.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel through the Stripe customer portal. You'll keep access through the end of your current billing period.
What data sources do you use?
GovBlitz aggregates data from SAM.gov contract opportunities (daily refresh), FPDS prime contract transactions, SAM entity registry (~887K registered firms), federal exclusion lists (debarment/suspension), and SAM Award Notices.
How do I use this with my AI assistant?
After subscribing, you'll receive a gb_ API key (for Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) or connect Claude Desktop via Custom Connector (OAuth). Full instructions in the documentation.
